An enchanting evening

I’m quite an antisocial person, due to anxiety and depression, but I am so glad I pushed myself to attend this! It was a very fun evening, very well thought out with an excellent selection of teas and wonderfully attentive staff!
Best Tea Lock In!

Me and my friend got tickets for a special pancake day lock in, and it was 100% worth it! Tasted some lovely tea, had an amazing cocktail, it was an amazing and lovely experience. The staff was so warm, welcoming and hyped about every flavour, it was heartwarming really. Also Lucy the tea shop's dog have been the best host ever. We were able to spend the ticket's price in tea, so no one should think about this, if you would like to try out some tea, I 100% recommend one of these events....Read more

Fantastic event. Worth every penny. Lovely way to try a few new teas and have a bit of fun. It's only short and sweet and gives you a chance to get hold of limited edition teas.
Very disabled friendly - you can sit when needed, staff are helpful friendly and welcoming. It's a small group and no sensory overload.
Finally and most importantly they are dog friendly !! For events and general shopping. ...Read more

Amazing
Attended the Lock in at the Nottingham store on Thursday and had a great time (did rubbish in the quiz though lol) But very informative, relaxed and I know loads more now about not just mixing teas with boring plain water - I can use gin too :-).
The yule log tea is yummy - thank you for the yule log latte too.
The 2 tea experts that ran it were fantastic (sorry - rubbish with names) and gave me lots of information.

Value for money and more!
I attended the Chai Bristol lock in with a friend. I had never attended a lock in before, so had no idea what to expect.
Both of us had an amazing time! The cocktail/mocktail choices were both really tasty. I think my friend got hooked on B&B just from that first drink! Our hosts were really nice and It was interesting to get a bit more information about how the company formed, as well as the history behind how chai was created.
The tea tasting was a fantastic way to try a good variety of teas. 9 different chai teas were presented to us and there was something for everyone.
At the end we were all presented with a goodie bag, a £10 voucher to use on the night, as well as an extra 10% off purchases. So considering the lock in places are £10 each, it is incredibly good value for money, especially when you count the value of the goods in the bag.
I was really disappointed to find out the next event in Bristol is fully booked. But I will be booking in for the next event. I think my friend will be looking to bring more friends as well! ...Read more
A Relaxed and Fun Evening with Tea
I randomly stumbled across this event and decided I would check it out. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the evening turned out to be lovely. We were welcomed with delicious tea cocktails and then spent the rest of the evening learning about the company, drinking or slurping away at some of the different types of teas they have (all of which were delicious!), and learning recipes for plant based milks. If you're tired of tea, you're tired of life
So far, I've been to one tea lock in (plant) and one tea tasting/blending. Jill at the Manchester store ran both, and was brilliant. She's very bubbly and knowledgeable. The teas taste great and you get a really good discount at the end, which even on it's own makes the experience worth attending. Already bought tickets to the next one. Highly recommended!
Informal tea tasting
I wasn't sure what to expect! I bought as a surprise present for my friend. We were given a lush tea cocktail on arrival and then told about the history of Bird and Blend. We then got to do tea tasting of the new blends and had to blindly rate them and guess what kinds of tea they were. We then got a voucher and some samples to take back.
