We have our Nordic neighbours to thank for the tradition of gingerbread. Every year the town of Bergen, Norway still build a lifesize gingerbread city to celebrate Christmas. What a nightmare for poor old Hansel and Gretel! Let's hope they are keeping a low profile and enjoying a steaming cup of our Gingerbread Chai instead!

I have been purchasing this chai tea for months now and couldn’t recommend it more! It’s very nice with oat milk, but not too sweet. It also goes really well with almond milk and a bit of honey. I have a cup of chai tea every morning to start off my day with just the right amount of sweetness and spice! THE greatest tea on earth
Gingerbread Chai is the best tea on the planet - I am prepared to fight (teabag in hand) to defend my position - here's why. First off it is a lovely combination of spicy enough to be warm, but not so spicy that it is just spicy and no tea. Second it's Rooibos, which I can't pronounce, but is great for those of us trying to not spend the day bouncing off the walls on caffeine. Third it tastes like proper gingerbread, as in the cake not the depressed looking iced people. Fourth this version is in tea bags so I neither make a mess in my office nor do I have to endure endless jokes about my loose tea being something nefarious. My favourite tea. Can have a cuppa of this one everyday. Can also be part of a gingerbread loaf ingredient. Well, this one is just perfect for me!
