An essential tea tool, this universal in-cup infuser basket fits all cups, mugs and pots and makes brewing your perfect cup of Bird & Blend tea effortless and hassle free.
Infuser baskets are the best way of brewing loose leaf teas like ours because they give the leaves space to fully unfurl and infuse all of their delicious flavours.
Just pop into your cup or pot, add tea, pour water, wait, then remove the infuser basket and throw away the leaves. A quick rinse under the tap and your ready to go again!
Infuser lip is 9.5cm wide and the basket is 5.5cm meaning it fits almost any mug!

I went back and forth in my head if I should get the brewtini since I knew I would always be making at least two loose leaf teas (one for me and one for my partner) when I made a cup, but I got this simple in-cup tea infuser basket, and I'M SO GLAD I DID! I may have to wait the brew time for each cup, but that only makes the ritual of making the tea more deliberate and is really helpful if we decide to have different Bird and Blend teas. Ideal for when you can’t be bothered with a teapot

This fits all but the widest mugs we own, but I would recommend using a mug with a narrow top otherwise the edge of the infuser gets very hot. As others have said it could do with a heatproof handle but it’s not a deal breaker.
As a filter it’s almost perfect with only the finest dust getting through the mesh.
Highly recommended.

Getting a lot of use out of this.
I have been put off loose leaf tea in the past as it is a pain to clean out a teapot and those ball shaped infusers on a chain are too fussy. This makes it so easy. It empties out really easily and it simple to clean. It’s worth getting one of these to enjoy drinking these amazing teas.
Makes loose leaf tea easy
I tried making Bird and Blend teas in my teapot but they tended to clog up the spout because of the large pieces eg whole rosebuds. I love the large pieces and wouldn’t change the blends, so this infuser is perfect. It makes tea making a breeze.

Fuss-free loose leaf tea!
This infuser couldn't be easier to use - no faffy opening/closing mechanisms, a big open space for the tea to infuse and it's really easy to rinse and clean too. It's fit in every cup I've tried (I have a fair few...) and I like watching the leaves hydrate and unfurl. I have other infusers that are prettier with decorative designs but for practicality and simplicity, this one wins :)
Perfect
We loved this so much that we went back and bought two more. The best infuser we've ever found - fine mesh, simple to use (and clean!) and plenty of room for the leaves to expand. Buy one, you won't regret it!
So easy to use
I bought this infuser, as I wanted to go back to loose leaf tea, but wanted the convenience of making tea in a mug. They fit various shaped mugs, and are very easy to use and empty.
You won't regret it!
My first order was just to get a tea infuser, but Bird&Blend were kind enough to send me free deluxe tea samples, no questions asked (I especially liked the Bonfire Toffee). Great company, and also a great infuser! Minimal to no residue at the bottom of your cup depending on the fineness of your tea + it's extremely durable. Keep up the good work.
Very impressed
I'll be honest - I was cautious about this product. I've used various diffusers before and they are all a PITA to clean out. This is great though, just tap it out in the bin & run it under the tap to get rid of the last few bits. It can get a bit warm so a good idea to put it on one side of your mug so that you have a cooler edge to take it out.
Easy cleaning
The infuser is very easy to use and to clean. The only down side is there is no handle (the other infuser I bought has a small handle), this means your fingers get a tad warm when taking it out of the cup. If it had a small handle it would be perfection
A Good Strainer
This does exactly as promised. When I first ordered it, I worried that the strainer would not be deep enough for larger cups (no one wants to dilute their tea just so the water can reach their tea leaves). So far, it has worked with my small and larger mugs, and it is easy enough to clean out. The straining power is good, but not great. The mesh will catch most of the bits, but if you have some tea that is very fine, there will be residue at the bottom of the cup. Tea for One Please!to
I originally bought this to use at work but found I was spending a bit too much time waiting for my tea to steep so I got a Brewdini instead and took this home. It's perfect for when I want to treat myself to a cup of my favourite tea - enchanted narnia - and is easy to clean. Much easier than the teapot I had been using!

I think the In -cup Infuser is brilliant. It fits all my cups and wash nicely.

I love the infuser basket - I always get a great brew because the leaves have room to move around which makes this much better than any of the smaller, enclosed infusers that I have used before. It also avoids the issue of leaves escaping from the ones that hinge closed (I have had many a cuppa marred by this in the past!)

Good infuser
Fits into mugs and gives the tea leaves room to move as you poor the water on. I haven't found it as easy to clean as smaller infusers but it's not a big problem.
