Matcha Berry Smoothie
This matcha layered berry smoothie is the bees' knees! It's colourful, jam packed with nutrients and superfood goodness! Try this simple breakfast treat at home. Recipe + photo credit - Charley's Health.

What you will need:
Matcha layer:
- 1 banana
- 1/2 avocado
- Dash of vanilla extract
- 3/4 Perfect Matcha Spoons of Matcha Powder
- Almond milk to blend
- Optional - honey or maple syrup
Berry layer:
- 1/2 cup raspberries
- Tbsp smooth peanut butter
- 1 tsp arctic berries powder
- Almond milk to blend
What to do:
1. For the matcha layer, add all of the ingredients into a blender, along with a splash of almond milk and blend until smooth and creamy.
2. You can add more milk if you would like the smoothie to be of a thinner consistency- I find that the smoothies are easier to layer if slightly thicker. If you would like it to be a little sweeter, feel free to add in a dash of maple syrup or raw honey.
3. Pour this into the bottom of your glass and set aside.
4. For the next layer, repeat this process with the berry smoothie ingredients and add as little or as much almond milk as you would like.
5. Pour over the matcha layer and top with fresh fruit, coconut or whatever you desire and enjoy!
