Salted Caramel Lebkuchen
Pronounced Leb-kuch-chen, these little bites of heaven are a German Christmas tradition; a bit like gingerbread but softer & often in the cutest of shapes! We've taken this favourite treat one taste level further (obviously!) & blended with notes of salted caramel... pure Christmas bliss!

Best way to brew: Our favourite way to enjoy this blend is as a tea latte or hot with a dash of milk (any kind is great).
Sri Lankan black tea, ginger, apple pieces, cinnamon, rosehip, cardamom, cloves, orange peel, natural flavouring.
Warning: Packed in an environment that contains nuts.

Love love love, sweet and gingerbread, all the classic Christmas spices without being too strong. It goes so well with the black tea. Very similar to gingerbread chai, I probably wouldn't be able to tell them apart honestly. Both delicious and winter staples

Winter Delight
What a nice treat! I've tried loads of teas over the years purporting to have a Gingerbread flavour and they always just end up tasting like...well, plain ginger. But this one actually achieves the warm cookie taste I crave! Nice mix of spices. Lovely with milk on a cold afternoon!

Childhood baking afternoon in a cup
The smell alone takes me back to Christmas baking with my nan, who made incredible ginger bread. This has a real nice hint of Lebkuchen and with a little bit of honey added it becomes truly outstanding in my view. Needless to say I had to order more immediately!

I tried this tea as a sample from the advent calendar and enjoyed it so much I bought a tin. The tea is a good mix of strong and sweet, all the flavours compliment each other.

Please B&B keep making this. Please, please. I like salted caramel a lot, alas actual salted caramel keeps increasing my waistline. This tea is fulfilling my need for a caramel taste without making me look like a human lebkuchen. The taste is spot on, the scent is intoxicating. I love it. Ich liebe.

Best Tea Ever
I’ve been drinking tea since I was ten and have tried many good teas over the decades. This Lebkuchen tea beats them all. It tastes like real Lebkuchen, and I’ve become obsessed with it. Everyone who’s smelled it or tried it asked for details to buy their own. Bird and Blend offer many amazing teas, but this is the best.

Star shaped lebkuchen in a cup
I love lebkucken at this time of year and when I open the packet it smells just the same. The tea is wonderful with or without milk and just like the lebkucken, I had to have another after my first cup...
Delicious warming winter tea
I love this tea so much, I'm going to have to go back and get more very soon. It's lovely to have with milk or on its own and feels wonderfully Christmass-y, not too sweet but more indulgent than a 'normal' cup of tea with a biscuit!

This tea is such a comforting flavour for me! It's got a rich sweetness enveloped in softly warming notes of ginger and cardamom, that puts one in mind of those chilly mornings right around the holidays where nobody minds if you break open a packet of lebkuchen for breakfast. Or is that just me?
