Join us for our tea blending and tea tasting classes
Learn all about the art of tea blending and tea tasting at our popular workshops. Hosted in the evening at our stores, come along alone or with a group, all welcome. A perfect gift for a friend who wants to learn all about tea blending, as corporate entertaining or with your team at work and unique hen parties too!
What's involved?
Our traditional tasting session will teach you all about different teas and blending herbs, how they are made, best enjoyed and their health benefits.
Later in the evening our expert Tea Mixologists will help you create your own tea blends to take home with you, designed, named and packed by your very hands
Throughout the evening choose from our tea cocktail menu and get hands on as we mix you up some of your favourite flavours at our tea cocktail bar.
When, where + how much?
We run our workshop on the designated date (which you can select above) which is run in your chosen store. If you aren't sure just yet, select 'confirm date later' to book in later.
£40p/person
Due to the popularity of the workshop and the fact they sell out months in advance, any changes to your booking must be made 14 days prior to the workshop date.
Unfortunately, if you don’t show up to your workshop and fail to contact us in the 14 days before, we will be unable to re-book you for another date and you will lose your workshop space, and your pennies! (Which we really don’t want!).

We were given this experience as a gift. We loved it! Kate and Jess were wonderful and we learned lots of new things about tea. We tried a few mocktails from the menu (I liked the drink "Unicorn"). I recommend that you try this and find out what kind of new teas appeal to you!
A wonderful tea-based experience

I was given this class as a Christmas present and I honestly cannot recommend it enough! The presentation on the different types of tea was really informative and engaging, and both Kate and Sophie were eager to take questions (and look up the answer to find out if they didn't know!). Sophie's tasting experience was really interesting, she clearly knows what she's talking about, it's amazing the difference in taste you can get in a tea! It was also great fun to make our owns blends, picking flavours to suit our own tastes. One of my favourite things was the unlimited free drinks (all tea based!), from cocktails to hot drinks. It was the perfect balance between informative, educational, tasting and mixing! I was a black tea only kind of person and my husband was a coffee dominanted one. We tried so many and got to understand the properties of so many different teas we can safely say we are way more open eyed, and have placed orders for more teas! Brilliant experience
Many thanks to the wonderful ladies for an amazing experience. Lots of lovely tea to try and the mixology of blending my own tea was just brilliant. Very much looking forward to tasting my blending efforts.

I couldn't think of a better way to describe my evening with Bluebird in Bristol than 'Wonderful!'
The girls running the class were so welcoming and friendly from the moment myself and my work colleage walked through their doors. Not only are you greeted by lovely smiley faces but embraced by the delicious scent of many different teas too, of course! The girls answered our questions knowledgably all evening and engaged with us throughout, making sure we were comfortable and rehydrated (tea on tap!) . The whole experience was just fantastic and I walked away in awe of the journey of tea and the many different kinds. It left me with just enough knowledge to unload the shpiel onto unwilling friends and family, whilst forcing them to drink my non-expertly crafted tea that we were able to create and take home. Super fun!
Went with my best friend as for her birthday and I loved it, as much a present for me as it was for her! I had so many yummy tea lattes (and then proceeded to buy all the teas I tried) and the instructors were so lovely and helpful when making our own teas. 11/10 would go again.
Fantastic evening
Had a great evening at the tea blending workshop. Who knew there was so much to learn about tea. Great to be able to taste different types of tea and be able to make your very own blends.
Brilliant birthday treat
I took my OH on this workshop for a birthday present, and we weren't disappointed. The whole evening was interesting, learning about different types of tea and how they're made. The tea cocktails were a nice touch (as well as adding great value to the ticket cost). The best aspect of the evening was the staff; they were so friendly and welcoming, and clearly had a great passion for tea, as well as making good suggestions when creating our own blends. We got three blends each which we made to take home. They also provided us with any tea we asked for (as well as the tasters specifically chosen for the event).
