Full of Crackers

If I'd seen these the flavours from any but my fave tea company, I would undoubtedly have turned my nose up. Knowing Bluebird to be perfectionist purveyors, they went straight through as a seasonal gift to myself. I shall now review them individually in order of trying:



Stuffing- The perfect savoury tea! It must be stated here that I don't actually like stuffing, which makes it even more of a coup that this was love at first sip. I have been suffering from cold-like symptoms a lot lately, and the combo of cleansing sage and sweet nuttiness did a lot to clear the congestion.



Candied Yam- I was disappointed to miss out on Spiced Pumpkin pie this year, so was delighted to find this slightly more earthy offering even more delectable. The sweetness and spiciness are undercurrents to the pervading warm comfort.



Key Lime Pie - This was the only minor point, and the reason for not giving the set full marks. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it and will continue to do so. The only difficulty is that, however I brew it, the lime comes through as very much an aftertaste. I've eaten a fair bit of the green goodness (if you haven't, this song https://youtu.be/3o2fTaldOUw calls it), and enjoy it best as lime topnote, creamy middle, spiced biscuit last. This tea has creamy topnote, then the biscuit, and the lime only comes minutes after finishing
