Inspired by the classic Italian coffee-based dessert, traditionally served as a shot of espresso over a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
This lush black tea is blended with roasted coffee beans and almonds for extra nutty notes, AND in true B&B style, we’ve finished this one off with brew-TEA-ful blue flower petals.

This tea smells and tastes amazing! It's the perfect tea to turn to when I don't feel like the hassle of cleaning our espresso machine. The coffee, almonds, and vanilla are balanced really nicely - drinking this feels like an indulgance. My only regret is ordering a 20g sample instead of a bigger pack!

CUPPA ITALIAN PERFECTION
I adore this tea to no end bought the 300 gram bag, of course). It's the perfect afternoon, morning, or evening (or all three) treat! Best enjoyed with a splash of milk. This tea is just so gorgeous and lovely, not too strong of a coffee taste and well balanced.
Delicious hot or cold
I love this tea. I tried cold brewing it in oat milk and it's like drinking tiramisu, so refreshing on a hot day
Not for Me :(
I once worked someplace with a combined coffeemaker/hot water dispenser. Unfortunately, this meant the hot water tasted of coffee grounds all the time, which always left my tea tasting rather off. This blend gave me flashbacks to those days. I was able to salvage it by cold-brewing it and mixing it with a lot of vanilla soy milk, but hot, I really just could not get behind it at all. Shouldn’t work but it does!
If someone had said to me that I would be drinking a tea with coffee beans in it, I would have laughed. Yet this is exactly what Affogatea does. The flavours are complex and rewarding to drink and I use this one when I want a stronger flavour and a bit of a caffeine boost. Really lovely to drink when coming home from work. It is actually better than the affogato dessert it is based on!

Drink it like the dessert
This is one of those teas that tastes great on the counter steeped in milk but doesn't work when you take it home and drink it long and black. After a bit of experimenting I've found it loveliest brewed short and strong, served on ice with a splash of oatly barista.
Good, but not one of the best
Although the tea leaves certainly smell like vanillay coffee, I thought the coffee taste came through but not the sweetness.
I also found that I preferred the tea with milk, despite the tea's pacakging suggesting it was better without.
I personally preferred the Jelly & Ice Cream tea for capturing the taste as well as the smell.

If you are bored with the usual array of teas and infusions in supermarkets these blends from Bird & Blend are the ones for you. They are truly innovative and the range is superb. Why hasn't anyone thought of this before? I tried the Affogatea because I can't resist affogato in Italian restaurants. So now, I can have a delicious affogato without the calories!

This is delicious, it's a delicate but bold black tea, with strong coffee beans mixed it in with a sweet almond flavour. I've been having it with breakfast with a splash of skinny oat milk.
Thoroughly enjoying it. Wish I'd brought a bigger pack!

So Affa Fine translated means Soooo Good! This tea is amazing - it’s exactly like coffee and ice cream. A definite winner!!
