Monkey Chops is an affectionate title, only to be bestowed upon the cheeky and the zany. Fitting, as this tea is Bananas... B-A-N-A-N-A-S! Some of our crazy blends (banana!) split the panel but this one has been a resounding hit all-round! Smooth, creamy and totally bananary..it's simply the chops!

this is my go-to tea, much to the dismay of my flatmate who detests banana as i wave it around proudly. but it's so good, with milk it tastes creamy, almost like those foamy banana sweets. and i like to add a little honey because i like things super sweet. if you love banana flavour, definitely give this a go!

I was debating about whether to get this as was unsure about how banana flavour would manifest in a tea, but I'm so glad I gave it a shot! To me it tastes like banana ice cream when I add milk to it. Highly recommended. I would love for there to be a banana split variant of this flavour, maybe if some cocoa/toffee is added.

I’m so happy I tried this tea! The banana flavour is not overwhelming, it reminds me a bit of banana ice cream. Very good for dunking a biscuit or two in!
Absolute Favourite!
I am one of those people who loves snuggling up late at night with a hot, milky brew. Monkey chops is my number one favourite recommendation for this! It's got a sweet element that really brings out a dessert feeling (but without the extra calories), and is the perfect night cap for me. Sidenote - this also is amazing cold brewed in oat milk overnight (recommended by a staff member)

A great tea. I wish it tasted a little more of banana, but perhaps I didn’t make it strong enough! You can definitely smell it and the taste is there, though.
Subtly banana-ey
This is a little weaker tasting than I was expecting, but it does have a subtle banana flavour which works quite well. I've found that the longer you brew it, the more the flavour of the black tea takes over. Makes a nice change from a regular cuppa.

Absolutely amazing tea! You can tell by it always being sold out. Don't let the banana turn you off, it isn't coying and smooths out the black tea. Everyone in my house LOVES the stuff.

Cold Brew
As recommended by the Bird & Blend insta page I made a cold brew with Monkey Chops and coconut milk and it was unreal! I will definitely be buying more just so I can make this cold brew all the time!
I’ve found my favourite tea!
The banana flavour of this tea is delicious. I love it with a splash of oat milk. I especially enjoy it with my breakfast but I can’t just have one cup a day!
