Lift me up angel has lifted my best friend up into an energised state many a time since I gifted it to her and for that I give it 5 stars - for me it was a citrus step too far
This tea makes me feel very peaceful and uplifted, and not to mention it tastes great
I love this! It’s really fresh and delicious
Very awesome. Taste like lemon, but not overpowering, and it also isn't overpoweringly green tea like some that I've tried. I really suggest it.
There is a ton of tea that I have tried on this website...and many that I love. This is NOT one of them. When I first smelled this tea, I was surprisingly apprehensive. Dry, it had a very energizing lemony scent. The smell was very strong but somewhat refreshing. It almost felt like smelling a cleaning solution, however unfortunate that might sound.
When brewing, it surprisingly smelled very medicinal which I personally dislike. I am a huge fan of all green tea and ginseng, so I don’t believe the medicinal smell came from the sencha tea itself, most likely the yerba mate. I have never been a huge fan of yerba mate so I should have most likely given this a closer look before purchasing this tea…the name was so cute though, I couldn’t resist. I brewed 2tsp per 2 cups for 4 minutes and I found this tea a bit too strong for my tastes. The lemon flavour takes the back seat with the green tea as the main body…but what overpowers it is the yerba mate. The taste of the yerba mate gives me a headache and although I finished the tea, I did not like the tasting journey. I did not want to try this with milk or sugar, because I had a feeling it would make this tea worse with its flavour profile. Having a second look, I don’t think it’s even recommended drinking it with milk. I didn’t think sugar would have tasted good with this, so I tried it with honey as well and it was not good. If you like the yerba mate, I recommend this tea. If not, stay away. The angel will lift you down.

This is a really flavoursome tea. You can taste and smell the verbena. Would certainly recommend.
This blend is fresh, citrus and vibrant and a great way to start the day. A real pick me up.
My favourite wake me up morning drinkthat gives me the boost I need. I love it
I like the boost in energy that yerba mate gives me when I drink this in the afternoon. Strong lemon taste that lemon lovers would love. It does not taste artificial which I appreciate. I'm glad I tried this with the pick n mix option.. though I still prefer morning kick for my yerba mate tea over this blend but over all a nice lemon-y tea.
Didn't think I'd find a blend I prefer to a green tea one, and here it is! Extra zesty (careful if you're gonna stick your nose in there and take a full whiff!) with that wonderful earthiness of yerba mate. Just lush. Going in my permanent home collection
To be honest, this one reminds me a little bit like their Morning Kick blend, now that I’m thinking about it. The differences: Morning Kick seems to have ginger and no green tea. Lift Me Up Angel has ginseng and sencha. So there is a slight difference. But both are mostly lemon yerba mate blends. I really like this one though. The lemon is bright, fresh, and a bit like the topping on a donut, but then the earthy flavors of the sencha and yerba mate keep it grounded. The name is perfect. I love that the yerba mate and ginseng are energizing. Not enough yerba mate blends out in the tea world, so I do love when B&B has them. So overall I think this blend is actually an improvement on Morning Kick. I just noticed this blend also doesn’t have lemongrass, which Morning Kick was mostly drowning in (at least with my sample back in the day)— so yes, a definite improvement here!

This is a nice lemony herbal-tasting tea. The lemon is very herbaceous, as it comes from lemon verbena and lemon myrtle. I’m not sure I can distinguish between the two. I can taste the yerba maté just a bit, and it gives a nice earthy note. I definitely cannot taste the green tea. I wish there was more ginseng here, as I generally enjoy ginseng in tea.
I must say, I’m pleased that they didn’t add ginger to this tea. Too often, lemony teas have ginger in them, and I’m not really a fan.
My issue with this is that it tastes like an herbal blend, and it’s not. I would be most likely to drink something like this in the evening, but with the high-caffeine yerba maté that’s not a great idea.
