How To Make The Perfect Christmas Chai

How To Make The Perfect Christmas Chai

We have a great range of Christmas teas this year, including some incredible Christmas chai's! We love a good cup of chai when it's frosty outside because it warms us up from the inside!

We have 2 different types of chai. We have chai tea blends, which are regular tea blends (like black or rooibos) mixed with chai spices, and we have Sticky Chai. Sticky Chai is our traditional chai mix (the first one in the UK).

How To Make The Perfect Christmas Chai

As we've mentioned, we have 2 different types of chai. So, we are going to share 2 different way to make the perfect Christmas chai!

Gingerbread Chai Tea Latte

You will need:

- 2 Perfect Tea Spoons of Gingerbread Chai

- 100ml of boiling water

- 300ml of a milk of your choice

- A mug

- Cinnamon

How to make: Brew 2 teaspoons of Gingerbread Chai in 100ml of boiling water and leave to steep for 5 minutes. Heat up 300mkl of milk in the microwave for 1 minute on high and add your Gingerbread Chai into it (after you strain the leaves out) and give it a good stir. Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!

This is how we make our favourite Gingerbread Chai Latte the quick way but you can also make this chai on the stovetop - we do this at festivals and you guys are OBSESSED with it! Learn how to make it the proper way.

Traditional Sticky Chai

You will need:

- 2 teaspoons of Sticky Chai

- 300ml of a milk of your choice

- A mug

- Tea Sac (to put the Sticky chai in)

How to make: All you need to do is mix 2 heaped teaspoons into 300ml of your chosen milk and pop it into the microwave for a couple of minutes or (if you want to be more traditional) you can mix it on the hob until the tea is infused and hot.

When adding the Sticky Chai, you can either put it into a tea sac or mix it straight into the tea but you will need to strain the leaves out before drinking.
