What is cold brew tea?

Cold brew tea is made of tea leaves and/or herbal infusions steeped using cold water rather than hot. You can use any tea to cold brew, although fruit and green teas tend to be the best. It is very simple to make!

Cold brew tea has origins in the southern states of America, where they would traditionally leave tea leaves in water out in a bottle in the sun to warm and slowly infuse. Cold brew teas tend to taste a little sweeter and less astringent than those brewed with hot water.
